The close proximity to town.
There was a terrible odour in the bathroom which was extremely unpleasant.
Had free parking and was easily accessable. Good instructions on how to get there and pick up keys. Clean and tidy facilities but a little dated. Friendly and helpful staff.
Internet access via a usb modem. Only one tv. Could of given a bigger discount for staying longer than a week.
Walking distance to the city and parks
Our room was called a one bedroom apartment. It was in fact a very compact studio, with a folding partition door that was too broken to move. Bathroom very small - only place to put your towels, clothes was the toilet seat. Bathroom in dire need of "exit mould" and repairs. Outside balcony was filthy. Building is undergoing major repairs to its exterior, however this was not stated when we booked.Very noisy at night from the road traffic. We booked there because most accommodation was already booked and from the pictures it looked ok.
Renovations - so scaffolding surrounding our room and very noisy from 6:30am - 4pm. Hotel management very nosy and rude.
Close to a variety of dining out venues, the
Friendly staff, great undercover balcony to sit back relax and unwind, comfortable, very spacious. The booklet stated if the fire alarm goes off due to the toaster or steam from the bathroom and that is ok, however the fan in the bathroom was not working we had to keep the bathroom and bedroom door shut at all times to ensure the steam did not set off the alarm, The lift was also a worry,, we were a bit concerned at time we would get stuck in there,,, it may need a servicing. Overall our stay was plesant, we would consider returning. It would also be helpful to put a map and information in the guest folder of whats on, maps of the local area, dining out venues, what to see, etc... this would be helpful for visitors who are not formillar with the city.
Good spacious apartment.
No telephone, bad quality shower, only one toilet
The staff were very responsive to whatever I asked
The room still had a dirty towel in the room left behind from the last customer aprt from that all was good
Affordable, comfortable and walking distance to Suncorp.
an easy walk to shops, resaurants and the river
Self contained Budget appartments in a convenient location. Suitable for a short no-frills stay. Don't expect a first class experience and you'll be fine.
Positioned on a busy street and above a sushi place which makes it a bit noisy and smelly.
Have the basic service. The reception staff was very helpful, they even came on a Saturday and let us in before the check in time. Allowed us to keep the luggage in the nearby restaurent after check out on a weekend. Much thankful to the staff for this type of service
The shower doesn't close properly. Too noisy due to the traffic on the road. No reception staff/front office after hours or weekends.
The amount of space. Convenience to Brisbane city, eating places and all night convenience stores.
Lack of block out curtains in bedroom. No exhaust fan in bathroom. No soap in bathroom. No face washer in bathroom. Fridge had been turned off and the defrost water was all over the floor.
Close to major shopping mall, buses and trains. Secure entry, all keyed locked
Hard to find at night. Not informed that there is no reception after 5.00pm. Information states Check in hours are 2.00pm-11.30pm, this is not the case. Had to ring a mobile number stuck to the front door to gain entry. Pool is not suitable.
Location was near city.
Outside corridor walls was in poor repair. Apartment Walls in bathroom were mouldy. The rate was very high for such a poor standard of apartment which was advertised as a 2 bed villa which was totally misleading. Apartment is in need of renovating.
The balcony was the best part, private and very spacious. The apartment had everything mentioned in the advertising, surprising well designed, very functional for having guests. A very pleasant walk to city through the gardens.
I had a great stay and my friends found the place easily. It was all good, I'd suggest a simple map of the city with the hotel marked would be very helpful, I was pleasantly surprised at how close the city was but the standard tourist maps don't really accentuate this. A bus timetable, and directions on bus tickets would also be helpful.
